Elephant used for tourist rides dies at Angkor

Riding elephants in Cambodia

We are very sad to see that a beautiful young elephant has just died from exhaustion near Angkor Wat.

A petition to APSARA authority to stop elephant riding at Siem Reap has been started. APSARA is the Cambodian management authority responsible for protecting the archaeological park of Angkor and is in charge of the research, protection, development and conservation of the park. Please sign the petition and share it with your friends.
