Laos to Mondulkiri
If you want to travel from southern Laos or the 4000 islands to Mondulkiri you first need to catch a minivan to the border between Laos and Cambodia.
From the border you need to get a minivan to Stung Treng. This is first town you will come to in Cambodia. It is located on the Mekong River.
From Stung Treng you can catch the Virak Buntham minivan that is travelling east from Siem Reap to Mondulkiri.
It is a good idea to book this online because it will already have people who got on the minivan at Siem Reap.
