Instead of having to travel from Sen Monorom to Siem Reap via Phnom Penh there is now a VIP minivan that travels directly from Sen Monorom to Siem Reap.

The Rithya Mondulkiri Express leaves the main street of Sen Monorom daily at 7.45am.  It stops for lunch at Kompong Cham and arrives in Siem Reap in the late afternoon.

The Rithya Mondulkiri Express now makes it easier to visit Sen Monorom after your visit to the Mondulkiri Project’s elephant sanctuary.

Siem Reap to Sen Monorom

The Rithya Mondulkiri Express also has a service that operates from Siem Reap to Sen Monorom.   It leaves  at 7.45am, has a one hour lunch break at Kompong Cham, and arrives in Sen Monorom around 4.15pm.  Their bus stop is located on Road 6, 100 metres on the right past Borey Seang Nam (main Siem Reap bus station).  The trip from town to their bus stop is around 20 minutes and will cost $3-$5 buy tuk tuk.  There is a local cafe next door selling breakfast.  It serves fried pork/fried chicken and soups.
