Happy

Happy is the youngest elephant in our herd and the shyest. She spent years working as a logging elephant in Dak Dam Village before coming to us. Her previous owner reached out to the Mondulkiri Project himself — he knew Happy deserved better, and he wanted her to have it. She arrived cautious and quiet, and she still takes her time with new people. Unlike Comvine and Princess, Happy prefers her own company — she is often found alone in the forest, content in her own world. Her favourite thing is the river, where she washes herself slowly and completely, entirely unbothered by anyone watching.
