Mondulkiri Waterfall Leng Khin

Mondulkiri, a located in north eastern Cambodia, is known for its stunning natural beauty and is home to many beautiful waterfalls.  Some of the best Mondulkiri Waterfalls are:

1. Bou Sraa Waterfall: Bou Sraa Waterfall is the most famous waterfall in Mondulkiri and is located about 43 kilometres from the provincial capital,  Sen Monorom.  It is a two-tiered waterfall that drops over 25 metres into a large pool of water. The waterfall is surrounded. by lush greenery and is a popular spot for swimming and picnicking.

 

2. Leng Ret Waterfall: Leng Ret Waterfall and Cave are often the lunch stop on the Mondulkiri Project’s two day elephant and jungle trek tour . If you are lucky you might see small bats in the cave.  You get to walk behind the waterfall which is about 10m high.

 

3. Leng Khin Waterfall: Leng Khin Waterfall is a 50 metre high waterfall in a cavernous gully.  It is a great place to go for a swim during the Mondulkiri Project’s two day elephant and jungle trek tour.  There is a steep climb to the base so you need to be careful.

 

4. Leng Ong Waterfall:  Leng Ong is a beautiful waterfall located righ tnext to Leng Khin Waterfall.  There is a carpark and picnic tables making it a popular place for Cambodians to visit.  The waterfall is about a metre high and a great place to jump into the water from a large tree or the top of the waterfall.  

5. Romena Waterfall: Romnea Waterfall is located about 17 kilometres from Sen Monorom and is a series of cascading waterfalls.  The waterfall is surrounded by dense forest andis a great spot for hiking and exploring the area’s natural beauty.

6. Orimis Waterfall: Orimis Waterfall is located about 24 kilometres from Sen Monorom andis a beautiful, secluded waterfall that is often overlooked by tourists.  The waterfall drops over a rocky ledge into a small pool of water, and the surrounding forest is home to many species of birds and wildlife.

 

7. Sen Monorom Waterfall: Sen Monorom Waterfall is located about 2 kilometres from the. provincial capital, Sen Monorom, and is a popular spot for swimming and picnicking.  The waterfall is surrounded beautiful forest and is a great place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of Mondulkiri.

 

8. Leng Kry Waterfall: Leng Kry Waterfall is located about 30km from Sen Monorom and is a series of cascading waterfalls that drop over 15m into a large pool of water.

Visiting Mondulkiri Waterfalls is a must-do activity for anyone visiting the region.  The waterfalls are a testament to the natural beauty of the area and a great place to relax and enjoy the scenery.  Whether you are looking to swim, hike, or simply enjoy the view, Mondulkiri Waterfalls have something for everyone.
